Apply on PGE’s website

Complete your program application on PGE’s website first, then click the “Register now” button from this page to set up a new evPulse account or sign in to your existing account.

Connect your Tesla

After creating or signing in to your evPulse account, connect your car to evPulse using your existing Tesla app account credentials. It takes less than a minute!

Get rewards

New Smart Charging program enrollees will receive a $50 sign-up incentive and a $25 bill credit twice a year, plus a $20 monthly bill credit for participating in the Test Bed EV Charging Study.

What is the PGE Smart Grid Test Bed?

The PGE Smart Grid Test Bed promotes various projects that test smart grid technology and customer programs to support sustainable energy resources, keep energy prices lower, and invest in Oregon jobs and a healthier environment.

How does automatic smart charging work?

Once your EV is connected in the registration process and you've been enrolled in PGE’s Test Bed EV Charging Study program, your charging will be optimally scheduled each time you plug in at home.

evPulse identifies the lowest-cost periods you can charge in order to meet your upcoming driving needs (while considering overall grid conditions) and automatically schedules your EV to charge during those periods.

You'll receive notifications about your upcoming schedule through your preferred method (web and/or SMS texts) and can skip your proposed charge schedule if needed.
